Hi, we’re Robby and Sergey, and we are Lowercase Imaging, the Colorado wedding photographer team for couples who want documentary wedding photos and video that are fun, real, and show all of the emotion of the day along with a few breathtaking portraits that you’ll cherish forever sprinkled in. With Lowercase Imaging you’ll get the advantage of having not just one, but two skilled photographers and videographers covering your wedding, with over 30 years of combined experience. Experience that comes without arrogance. We know your wedding day is about you, not us and our art, and we pride ourselves on being super easy to work with and making you feel comfortable so you’ll enjoy every second of it. When you look back through your wedding album, we want you to not only love the photographs themselves, but also love the memory of the experience you had that day.
WHY LOWERCASE?
We get asked a lot about the name lowercase imaging. What’s the meaning? Really there are two answers to that question. The name itself came out of a song by one of our favorite bands. The song is about a guy and his struggle between taking the safety and security of a life in the nine to five corporate world, or daring to be one of the “lowercase” people. The dreamers, the creators. The ones who would forego a title and a company car, importance and maybe even wealth, for a chance to do something they love.
But for us the name carries a larger meaning as well. We want to be “lowercase” in our relationship with you, our clients. To recognize that we are not what is important. You are. Your wedding does not exist to give us an opportunity to express our artistic vision. We are here to serve you, to tell your story.

Thank you Robby and Sergey! Something that we love about Lowercase Imaging is that we got both beautiful photos AND amazing video. Our wedding trailer is seriously the best thing we’ve ever seen and cannot stop watching it!! We also loved that we had a full day of coverage at multiple locations. Although photography/videography isn’t cheap, this was worth every penny and there was a ton of value to be had. They also delivered us our photos and videos ahead of schedule which was so appreciated!

So incredibly thankful to have hired Lowercase Imaging to capture my wedding. Robby and Sergey are professional, fun, and overall wonderful humans. My family can be a LOT to handle sometimes, and I was so thankful to have a photography/videography team who supported what I wanted. Robby & Sergey were such a joy to work with and we love our photos and videos (engagement + wedding day). As a photographer myself, I knew there was a high standard for this special day, and Lowercase Imaging delivered! R&S were also great to work with. My husband & I ended up moving out of Colorado due to a job, but were still having our wedding in CO. It was stressful planning it, but every meeting or phone call I had with them, eased my worries and I knew they were taking care of us. We also had a large wedding and multiple locations (hotel for getting ready, Denver church ceremony, & separate location for reception). They stayed with us the whole day and even beat us to locations.
Sergey and Robby are absolutely amazing. They were so amazing for both our engagement session and wedding day! They really offer so much help when you need it, and our videos and pictures came out perfectly!! I couldn’t be happier with these long-lasting memories they’ve captured for us. They are the perfect blend of creativity, direction, fun, and candid that was exactly what we were looking for. Plus, they made poor weather look STUNNING in all my photos and videos! These guys are truly the best.
